Chloe Jang led Utah Valley with a two-round 1-under-par 143 (73–70) on Monday at the Kalispel Invitational at Kalispel Country Club and is tied for second on the 83-player leaderboard heading into Tuesday's final round.
Jang opened with a 1-over-par 73 before carding a 2-under-par 70 in round two, totaling seven birdies on the day. She is five shots behind two-round leader Grace Lee of Gonzaga at 6-under par.
Valentina Zuleta is also inside the top 10 after posting a 2-over-par 146 (72–74). Zuleta made eight birdies over her two rounds, including a run of three straight in her opener, and is tied for seventh.
Alyssa Butterfus is tied for 40th at 8-over-par 152 (75–77), while
Pati Uluave is also tied for 40th at 152 (77–75). Playing as an individual,
Mia Pace sits tied for 56th at 13-over-par 157 (79–78).
Rylie Rodriguez is tied for 66th at 16-over-par 160 (83–77).
As a team, Utah Valley recorded rounds of 297 and 296 for a 36-hole total of 17-over-par 593 and is tied for fifth in the 14-team field.
