ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference announced its weekly volleyball awards Monday, with Utah Valley's Bella Wooden earning her second career WAC Player of the Week honor. Joining Wooden were UT Arlington setter Mira Ledermueller and libero Samantha Glenn.

Wooden turned in one of her top defensive performances Thursday, posting 11 blocks in a sweep of Abilene Christian at Westminster University. It marked the second time in her last three matches with at least 10 blocks. The nation's leader in total blocks now has 102 this season and is quickly climbing UVU's record book in just over a year in Orem.

She followed with one of her best offensive outings Saturday against Tarleton State, recording seven kills on 16 attacks (.333) to help the Wolverines open WAC play 2-0 for the first time since 2022. She also added three service aces over the two matches.

Wooden previously earned WAC Player of the Week honors last season after the Classic City Clash in Georgia, where she had double-digit kills against both of UVU's power-conference opponents. That included 11 kills against Boston College and 10 more on 18 attacks against Georgia.
