Utah Valley makes its first of two trips to Pocatello, Idaho this week for the Snake River Open, hosted by the Idaho State Bengals.
The action will kick off at 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon with the women's pentathlon and men's heptathlon, as well as the men's pole vault. The majority of events will take place on Friday beginning at noon with the long jump and weight throw. A full schedule of events can be found at the link above.

The Wolverines put up a strong showing at the Weber State Indoor Invitational, with two new school records being set on the track and a dozen top 10 marks coming in.Â
Alex Hartshorn's performance in the mile was the headliner from the two days of action, with the sophomore from Alpine, Utah posting the first sub-four-minute mile in indoor program history. Hartshorn recorded a converted time of 3:59.72, and now owns the only two sub-four miles in program history after reaching that plateau during the 2025 outdoor season.
Sila Kiplagat shattered the 3k record with a converted time of 7:54.37, besting the previous mark by nine seconds. Behind Kiplagat, Jayden Fitzgarrald came across with a time of 8:03.97 to take the third overall spot.
Utah Valley's throwers put up a pair of top 10's in the weight throw on the first day of action. Andrew Turner and Eddie Garcia posted PR's of 17.13 and 17.12m respectively to move up to sixth and seventh on the all-time leaderboards.
James Duncan showed out in the 55mH with a time of 7.57 to take the No. 2 spot on the all-time leaderboards. Fellow hurdler Payge Walz claimed the No. 6 ranking on the women's side with a time of 8.33.
Sprinters Ella Hopper and Eme Stout posted identical 7.18 times in the 55-meter dash, with both moving into a tie for fifth all-time. On the men's side, Kade Thompson and Gavin Stafford moved up to third and fifth respectively with times of 6.33 and 6.34 in the same event.
In the women's 3k, Reagan Doman posted a blistering 9:31.83 converted time to take first in the race and claim the No. 5 spot all-time in her first race in Wolverine Green.Â
The last two top 10's on Saturday came in the 800m, with Max Clemons taking over fifth all-time with a time of 1:52.66 and Bria Anderson claiming ninth with a time of 2:14.46.
