NEW ORLEANS — Utah Valley men's cross country checked in at No. 20 in the week three USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll, the third-straight week the team has been ranked as the Wolverines head into the home stretch of the season.

Utah Valley debuted at No. 22 in the week one poll after placing eighth against a stacked field at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana on Sept. 19. The Wolverines moved up to No. 20 during their off week last week, then stayed put there this week following a sweep of the team and individual titles at the Color Country Invitational on Saturday.

Mark Boyle led the Wolverines, securing the first race win of his collegiate career, with Cameron Jacobs, Trey Despain, and Porter Whitworth rounding out the top four. Wyatt Mortenson capped off the team scoring with a sixth place finish.

The men's Mountain Region poll has shown no change since the Wolverines were first ranked in the national poll, with UVU sitting in fifth. The women's team was leapfrogged by Wyoming during the off week, sliding down to seventh.

Utah Valley will run its final race of the regular season next Friday, Oct. 16, when the Wolverines return to Terre Haute for the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational. Official start times and race assignments have yet to be released.
