Wolverines Close Texas Trip at UT Arlington on Saturday

OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball closes out its Texas road trip with a matchup at UT Arlington on Saturday, Feb. 7, in Arlington. Tipoff is set for noon MT (1 p.m. CT).

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines dropped the opening game of the road trip Thursday night at Abilene Christian, 70-50. Saige Gibb and Kylee Mabry each scored nine points for Utah Valley, while Gracie Sorenson added eight points to match a season high for the second consecutive game.
 
SCOUTING UT ARLINGTON
UT Arlington is 9-13 overall and tied with Utah Valley at 3-7 in conference play. The Lady Mavs are led by Kira Reynolds, who tops the team in scoring (12.2 points per game) and rebounding (8.2 rebounds per game). Reynolds posted 20 points and 15 rebounds in a double-overtime win over Utah Tech on Thursday night. UTA features a deep lineup and averages 22.1 points per game from its bench.
 
SERIES HISTORY VS. THE LADY MAVS
UT Arlington won the season's first meeting in College Park Center in January, 59-47. Utah Valley shot under 30% from the field in the loss. Cambree Blackham led the Wolverines with 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting. Reynolds finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds as the Lady Mavs improved to 4-2 all-time against Utah Valley and 3-0 in Arlington.
