OREM — Utah Valley's Isaac Hawkins and Sherman Weatherspoon IV have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The CSC Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The honor highlights student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically throughout the season.

To be eligible for Academic All-District® consideration, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and play in 90 percent of the team's games.

Weatherspoon, a 6-foot-3 junior guard from Bowie, Maryland, holds a 3.56 cumulative GPA while majoring in applied communication. He appeared in 32 games for the Wolverines, averaging 5.0 points per game while shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 38.0 percent from three-point range. He delivered one of the top performances of the season in Utah Valley's regular-season finale, scoring a career-high 27 points with six made three-pointers in the Wolverines' overtime win at Utah Tech that clinched the outright WAC regular-season title.

Hawkins, a 6-foot-10 junior forward from Fort Mill, South Carolina, carries a 3.95 cumulative GPA as a business and analysis major. He played in all 34 games and averaged 7.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per contest while shooting an efficient 66.2 percent from the field. He scored in double figures 12 times during the season and finished with 50 total blocks, including three games with four blocks. Hawkins also recorded a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double in Utah Valley's win over West Coast Baptist, anchoring the Wolverines' interior defense throughout the season.

Utah Valley finished the season with a 25-9 overall record and secured its second straight outright Western Athletic Conference regular-season title. The Wolverines advanced to postseason play for the second consecutive year.

As Academic All-District® honorees, Hawkins and Weatherspoon are now eligible for selection to the CSC Academic All-America® Team. Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot, with first-, second- and third-team honorees set to be announced April 14.

The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes student-athletes across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA, honoring the best of the best in collegiate athletics for their achievements in competition and in the classroom.
