Utah Valley hosts its lone home meet of the 2026 season on Thursday at Hal Wing Track & Field, the UVU Collegiate Invitational. The Wolverines will compete against Weber State, BYU, SUU, Utah State, Idaho State, Northwest Nazarene, Westminster, Snow, and CSI.
Gates open at 7:30 a.m. MDT, with the first events beginning at 8. A full rundown of the meet schedule can be found at the link above, along with a parking map. All yellow lots surrounding the track stadium will be available to park in, and both admission and parking are free. Live results will be available at SportTrax.com.Â
This will be the first of back-to-back meets hosted at Hal Wing Track & Field. Utah Valley will also be hosting the UVU Utah County High School Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley opened the outdoor season with a solid showing at the Utah Tech Invitational on Saturday in St. George. The Wolverines recorded 10 event wins, along with eight marks that rank in the top 10 all-time in UVU history.
Caren Kipsirat posted the most dominant performance of the day, winning the women's steeplechase with a time of 10:21.89 that ranks second all-time and was a new meet record. Kipsirat took first by 15 seconds over second place and 40 seconds over third.
Sila Kiplagat won the men's 5000-meter, posting a time of 14:06.10 to claim the fifth-best outdoor time. Jayden Fitzgarrald followed him across the line to take second with a time of 14:13.70 that ranks ninth.
Cameron Jacobs made it a sweep of the steeplechase, taking first on the men's side with a time of 9:11.59, with Caleb Ream taking third at 9:31.61. Skyler Roper made his Wolverine debut in the 1500m, taking first with a time of 3:52.53. Roper was followed closely by Wyatt Mortenson in second and Pierce Vittone in third.
Maddie Passmore swept her specialties, taking first in the triple jump with a mark of 11.78m that ranks tied for third all-time, and winning the long jump with a mark of 5.68m. Triple jump record-holder Olivia Pixton made her post-mission return, taking third with a leap of 11.22m while also taking second in the long jump at 5.49m.
Kade Thompson and Gavin Stafford went one-two in the 100-meter dash, posting times of 10.56 and 10.70 respectively. Ella Hopper posted a strong season debut in the 400-meter hurdles, taking first with a time of 58.27.

Utah Valley will have a busy first weekend of April, sending athletes to three meets on the 3-4. The Wolverines will compete at the UNLV Rebel ELITE in Las Vegas, along with the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Track Classic in Northern California.
