The Utah Valley University men's golf team continues its spring season March 8-10 at the Bandon Dunes Championship at Pacific Dunes Golf Course in Bandon, Oregon. The three-day tournament is hosted by the University of Idaho and features a 15-team field competing over 54 holes at one of the premier golf destinations in the world.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The Bandon Dunes Championship will be contested over three days in stroke play format. Teams will play 18 holes each day beginning Sunday with a 7:45 a.m. PT shotgun start, followed by rounds on Monday and Tuesday at the same time. The tournament will follow a play-five, score-four format.

TOURNAMENT FIELD
The field includes Air Force, Denver, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, Seattle U, Seton Hall, SIUE, Utah Tech, Wofford, and Utah Valley.

COURSE INFORMATION
Pacific Dunes Golf Course will serve as the host venue for the Bandon Dunes Championship. The championship layout will play as a par-71 course measuring approximately 6,600 yards. Located along the Oregon coast at the renowned Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Pacific Dunes is consistently ranked among the top public golf courses in the United States and features dramatic coastal views, firm playing conditions, and challenging links-style design.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley last competed at The Watney Invitational in Fresno, California, where sophomore Paxton Maxwell recorded his sixth straight top-10 finish, tying for seventh with a three-round 1-over-par 214 (71-71-72) at San Joaquin Country Club. Colby Hutchens finished tied for 48th at 11-over-par 224 (79-72-73), while Ty Brady tied for 62nd at 16-over-par 229 (78-75-76). JJ Tomsick placed tied for 67th at 19-over-par 232 (78-74-80), and Andrew Hawk finished tied for 70th at 22-over-par 235 (76-80-79). Utah Valley finished 12th in the 14-team field with a three-round total of 43-over-par 895 (303-292-300).

LOOKING AHEAD
Following the Bandon Dunes Championship, Utah Valley will return to Arizona to compete at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, March 31-April 1, at Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa.
