OREM — Utah Valley University women's golf has signed transfer Sydney Richards, who will join the Wolverines for the 2026-27 season, head coach Juli Erekson announced.

"We're excited for Sydney to join us in the fall and finish off her college career with us," said Erekson. "She embracing everything our program stands for. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, growth mindset, and values teamwork. She will be a wonderful addition."

Richards, a native of Farmington, Utah, comes to Utah Valley after competing at Southern Virginia University, where she recorded four individual tournament victories during her collegiate career.

Richards will enter her senior season at Utah Valley and brings a strong track record of success both at the collegiate and high school levels.

Prior to her time at Southern Virginia, Richards starred at Farmington High School, where she was a region medalist and earned all-state honors as a senior. She helped lead her team to three consecutive state tournament appearances from 2021-23.

Utah Valley continues to build its roster heading into the upcoming season as the program prepares for its transition into the Big West Conference.
