OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball head coach
Dan Nielson has announced the signing of Arizona prep standout Heather Stedman to the 2026-2027 roster.
"We are thrilled to be adding Heather to the program!" said UVU head coach
Dan Nielson. "Her length and shooting will help us immediately. Her work ethic on the court and who she is off the court are exactly what we are looking for in recruits. We can't wait for our fans to see her on the court next year!"
Stedman joined the program as a mid-year transfer after a standout high school career at Arizona's Pinnacle High School, where her scoring improved each season. She earned First-Team All-Region honors as both a freshman and a sophomore before earning Desert Valley Region Player of the Year as a junior. The outstanding career at Pinnacle led her to PHH Prep in Phoenix, Ariz., where she played helped the Fire Frogs to a 17-7 overall record.
She played her club basketball for Jason Kidd Select, Arizona Elite, and Southwest Premier.
Stedman's older sister Ally played collegiate basketball, including stops at Pepperdine, Miami, and Central Florida.
