OREM — Utah Valley men's golf head coach Chris Curran has announced the signing of George Goff, a transfer from Cal State Monterey Bay, who will join the Wolverines for the 2026-27 season.

Goff comes to Utah Valley after a standout junior season at Cal State Monterey Bay, where he earned GCAA PING All-West Region and First Team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) honors.

"George is another guy who brings lots of tournament experience at the Division II level," Curran said. "It will be fun to watch him compete at the Division I level."

During the 2025-26 season, Goff competed in eight tournaments for the Otters and posted a 72.4 adjusted scoring average over 24 rounds. He finished the year ranked No. 128 nationally and No. 9 in the NCAA West Region while compiling a 372-142-24 head-to-head record.

Goff recorded two top-five finishes, four top-10 finishes and six top-20 finishes during the season. He highlighted the year with a fourth-place finish at the RCA Electric Invitational after carding rounds of 67, 71 and 73 to finish at 2-under-par 211. He also placed fifth at the Otter Invitational, tied for seventh at the Dennis Rose Invitational and finished 15th at The Hanny before advancing to the NCAA West Regional.

Goff helped Cal State Monterey Bay capture team titles at the 2025 Sonoma State Invitational and the Dennis Rose Collegiate, while also helping the Otters finish runner-up at the 2025 CCAA Championship and the 2024 Otter Invitational.

Prior to Cal State Monterey Bay, Goff spent the 2023-24 season at Gardner-Webb, where he helped the Bulldogs finish runner-up at the Big South Conference Championship and win the Fripp Island Collegiate team title.

Before beginning his collegiate career, Goff enjoyed an accomplished junior golf career. He captured five Hurricane Junior Golf Tour titles, earned medalist honors at two AJGA qualifiers, finished runner-up twice on the Florida Junior Tour and tied for 25th at the 2023 AJGA Arnold Palmer Invitational. He also posted a top-15 finish at the Florida Winter Amateur and advanced to the Round of 16 at the San Francisco Amateur.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Goff will major in Business Administration at Utah Valley.

Utah Valley is set to begin its inaugural season in the Big West Conference during the 2026-27 season.
