OREM — Utah Valley University women's soccer has earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year, the organization announced Friday.

The Wolverines posted a 3.64 team grade-point average during the 2025-26 academic year to earn the honor for the 11th time in program history and the ninth consecutive year under head coach Chris Lemay.

United Soccer Coaches recognized 777 collegiate soccer teams for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, including 451 women's programs and 326 men's programs. To qualify for the Team Academic Award, a program must post a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Utah Valley was one of 175 schools nationally to have both its men's and women's soccer programs earn the award.

The academic recognition adds to another successful year for the Wolverines both on and off the field. Utah Valley finished the 2025 season with a 14-5-3 record, captured its fourth consecutive Western Athletic Conference regular-season championship and earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.

The Wolverines have now earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award in each of Lemay's last nine seasons at the helm.
