OREM—Utah Valley senior forward Sadie Beardall has been named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Beardall turned in a big offensive week for the Wolverines, recording three goals, one assist and seven points as Utah Valley went 1-0-1 in Big West play.

The South Ogden, Utah, native opened the week with a five-point performance in Utah Valley's 7-1 win over Cal State Bakersfield at UCCU Stadium. Beardall scored twice and added an assist to help the Wolverines earn their first Big West victory.

Beardall followed that performance by finding the back of the net again Saturday night at UC San Diego, scoring one of Utah Valley's two goals in a 2-2 road draw with the Tritons.

The Bonneville High School product scored on three of her five shot attempts during the week and put four shots on goal.

UC San Diego's Charlotte Wilfert earned Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors, while Cal Poly's Madison Lujan was named Rookie of the Week.

Utah Valley continues Big West play Wednesday at UC Irvine. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MT at Anteater Stadium. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
