HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a team captain in 2010 ... helped team to three consecutive region championships and a semifinal appearance in the Utah State championships in 2010 ... helped lead East HS to state quarterfinals in 2008 and 2009 ... East went 47-5-2 during her three seasons on the varsity team ... received All-State honors in 2009 ... played in Olympic Development Program (ODP) Utah State 93 team from 2006-10 ... played for Sparta Premier jg 93 club soccer team and team was State Cup quarterfinalists four consecutive years.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Sue and Randall Skanchy ... graduated from East HS in 2011 with a 3.9 GPA and in top 10 percent of her class ... a member of the National Honor Society, East HS Acapella ... also works in East HS peer tutor classes working with special needs students and spent two years in American Sign Language ... served with her family as an Inner City Missionary in 2007 and 2008 ... majoring in special education at UVU ... her brother, Sam, played for Iowa Western.
