At Utah Valley University ...

SENIOR ~ (2014-15): 14-14 overall record (4-6 duals) at 174 pounds ... NCAA qualifier ... earned Second Team All-WWC honors after placing second in his weight class at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships with a big upset overtime win over Wyoming's Andy McCulley (3-1, SV-2) in the semis and a 2-1 record for the tournament ... finished his first trip to the NCAA Championships with an 0-2 record with losses to Indiana's Nathan Jackson (11-4) and Michigan's Taylor Massa (11-0) ... posted a 4-1 outing at the Reno Tournament of Champions but finished one win shy of placing as he had to take a medical forfeit in his final match of the competition ... also went 2-2 at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite and 2-2 at the season-opening Clarion Open ... picked up wins over Boise State's Austin Dewey (3-2, SV-1), Grand Canyon's Trey Ronayne (13-3), Air Force's Michael Billingsley (3-1, SV-1) and Oregon State's Joe Latham (8-3) in dual competition ... posted one win by fall, two by major decision and 10 by decision during his senior campaign ... finishes his four-year career at UVU with a 54-51 overall record. 

JUNIOR ~ (2013-14): 10-12 overall record (8-6 duals) ... placed fourth at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships with a 2-2 record ... went 2-1 at the Stanford Duals on Nov. 30 with wins over Stanford's Tommy Kimbrell (7-5) and CSU Bakersfield's Sean Pollock (5-3) ... also recorded dual wins over Central Michigan's Craig Kelliher (7-6), Gardner-Webb's Gray Jones (3-1), Grand Canyon's Austin Gaun (5-3), Boise State's Andrew Tiedman (8-5), SDSU's Ben Schwery (2-1), Air Force's Devin Hightower (3-1) and Northern Colorado's Nick Bayer (5-4) ... won all 10 matches by decision. 

SOPHOMORE ~ (2012-13): 10-10 overall record (2-3 duals) ... placed fourth at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships ... opened the season with a second-place finish at the Cowboy Open in Laramie, Wyo. on Nov. 3 with a 4-1 record ... went 3-2 at Reno Tournament of Champions on Dec. 16 ... won one match by tech fall and nine by decision. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2011-12): 20-15 overall record (7-9 duals) ... placed third at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships by going 2-1 at the tournament in Cedar Falls, Iowa on March 4 ... opened the season by winning the Northwest College Open on Nov. 5 by going a perfect 4-0 and placed second at UNC[apos]s Old Chicago Open on Nov. 19 by finishing 3-1 ... went 3-2 at his first trip to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 2-3) and 2-2 at the Wrestle for a Cure Duals in Harrisburg, Pa. (Nov. 12) ... posted two win via tech fall, four by major decision, six by fall and seven by decision. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Four-year varsity letterwinner at Wasatch High School ... two-time Utah State High School Champion, winning individual state titles as a senior and junior ... led his team to four straight state team titles; placed fourth at the senior national championships in 2008, earning All-America honors ... took second at the state tournament as a sophomore and also scored runner-up honors at the junior national tournament ... also earned first-team all-state honors in football.
