JUNIOR ~ (2016-17): 24-10 overall record (7-3 in duals) at heavyweight ... 2017 NCAA qualifier ... posted a 2-2 record at his first trip to the NCAA Championships with wins over Ohio's Zack Parker and Drexel's Joseph Goodhart ... placed second at the 2017 Big 12 Championship with a 2-1 record and a 6-0 upset win over four-time NCAA qualifier and No. 18 Ross Larson of Oklahoma in the semifinals en route to earning his first trip to nationals ... became UVU's first-ever finalist at the Big 12 Championship ... earned Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honors on Dec. 12 ... finished the season ranked 19th by InterMat, 21st on the RPI and 24th by the Coaches ... led the team with 24 wins and ranked second in dual victories with seven ... also posted a 6-2 record against Big 12 opponents ... won titles at both the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open and the UVU Open by going 5-0 and 4-0, respectively ... picked up an upset first-period fall over No. 12 Collin Jensen of Nebraska in the title bout of the Cyclone Open ... posted 2-2 outings at both the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite and the Southern Scuffle ... won 10 matches by decision, six by fall and four by major decision ... earned Second Team Academic All-Big 12 honors. 

SOPHOMORE (2015-16): 13-12 overall record (7-6 duals) at heavyweight ... named to the All-Academic Big 12 Second Team ... earned a fourth-place finish at the 2016 Big 12 Championship after going 2-2 with wins over the four seed Ben Tynan of NDSU (Dec. 6-4) and the six seed from Iowa State Joe Scanlan (TB-2 3-2) ... finished with a 2-2 ledger at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite with victories over Iowa State's Joe Scanlan (Dec. 11-5) and Cal Poly's Spencer Empey (Fall 2:40) ... nearly knocked off No. 10 Tanner Hall of Arizona State, as he fell to the top-10 ranked foe by a score of 2-1 ... went 2-1 at the Eastern Michigan Duals with wins over Michigan State's Dimitrus Renfoe (MD 14-1) and Rider's Greg Velasco (Dec. 3-1) ... finished fourth on the team in wins with 13, fourth in dual victories with seven and fifth in dual points with 24 ... earned one win by fall, three by major decision and eight by decision.  

REDSHIRT ~ (2014-15): Redshirted the season for the Wolverines ... named to the WWC Coaches' Honor Roll ... posted a 17-6 record at heavyweight while competing unattached ... won the UVU Open with a perfect 4-0 record ... placed third at the DoubleTree Colorado Mesa Open by going 4-1, fourth at the Northern Colorado Open by going 4-2, and sixth at the Reno Tournament of Champions with a 5-3 record ... posted four wins by fall, two by major decision and 11 by decision on the year.

FRESHMAN ~ (2011-12): 23-21 overall record (2-9 duals) at heavyweight ... named to the WWC Coaches' Honor Roll ... placed fourth at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships (March 4) by going 1-2 at the tournament ... won the Cowboy Open (Nov. 12) by going a perfect 4-0 at the tourney and placed second at the Colorado Mesa Open (Dec. 10) by finishing 2-1 ... went 2-2 at his first trip to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 2-3) ... helped UVU defeat Stanford (Feb. 3) with a 4-2 win over the Cardinal's Brendan Ter Wee ... posted a tech fall, two major decisions, five wins by fall and 13 by decision.

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Pleasant Grove HS in Pleasant Grove, Utah ... two-time Utah 5A State Champion in 2011 (215 lbs.) and 2010 (215 lbs.) ... 2011 high school All-American ... helped Pleasant Grove to two consecutive State Championships ... also played football.
