At Utah Valley University ...

SOPHOMORE ~ (2015-16): 
2-2 overall record at 165 pounds ... registered a 2-2 record at the Eastern Michigan Open before sustaining a season-ending injury ... defeated both Lake Erie's Justin Smith (Fall 1:35) and Findlay's Nicholas Skonieczny (Dec. 4-2) at the EMU Open ... picked up one win by fall and one by decision.  

FRESHMAN ~ (2014-15): 3-8 overall record (0-1 duals) at 157 pounds ... named to the WWC All-Academic Team ... placed second at the ERAU Mile High Open with a 2-1 record ... also went 1-2 at the season-opening Clarion Open ... lost his lone dual match of the season to Boise State's Steven Hernandez by fall ... posted two wins by decision and one by fall before sustaining a season-ending injury at the UVU Open on Jan. 10.
 
REDSHIRT ~ (2013-14): Redshirted the season and went 9-7 while wrestling unattached ... named to the WWC Coaches' Honor Roll ... placed third at the Colorado Mesa Second Chance Open with a 3-1 record ... also took fourth at the Cowboy Open on Nov. 2 with a 4-2 record ... won three bouts by fall, one by major decision and four by decision.
 
Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah ... a two-time State Champion and a three-time State Finalist (runner-up in 2009) ... four-time State Placer (3rd in 2008) ... went a perfect 50-0 in 2011 with 38 pins ... holds the Box Elder HS all-time pin record (110), season pin record (38) and season point record (337) ... was also a Cadet All-American, a Junior Freestyle All-American and a High School All-American ... helped his team to the State Title in 2011 and second-place finishes in both 2008 and 2010 ... also led his 2011 team to a undefeated record in duals and tournaments as well as set the State record for most points between first and second place in 2011 ... also played football in high school.

Graduated from Box Elder HS in 2011 with a 3.95 GPA ... a member of the National Honor Society and served on the Seminary Council as well as the Bee-1 Executive Council ... served an LDS Church Mission to Houston, Texas ... plans to major in chemistry at UVU ... also recruited by Arizona State, Boise State, Harvard, Navy and Stanford ... grew up on a dairy farm and won the 2009 Fitting and Showmanship Award at the Box Elder County Fair Dairy Show ... parents are Chris and Jenny Hardy.
