At Utah Valley ...
JUNIOR ~ (2008): Named to the 2008 Great West Conference Fall All-Academic Team ... competed in all of the Wolverines six events in 2008 ... placed 17th overall at the Great West Conference Championships in Orem, Utah (28:00.00 - 8K) ... finished 14th overall at the first event of the season, the Idaho State Invitational (20:12.97 - 6K) ... was UVU[apos]s third finisher at the Montana State Invitational, where he placed 28th overall at the (26:01.00 - 5 mile), and at the Color Country Invitational in Cedar City, Utah where he placed seventh overall (26:22.60 - 8K). 

SOPHOMORE ~ (2007): Competed in each of Utah Valley[apos]s six events in 2007 ... finished the BYU Autumn Classic with a time of 21:07.30 ... also finished second among UV runners with a time of 25:53.00 at the five-mile Montana State Bobcat Invitational ... finished fifth overall at the Independent Championships with a time of 25:36.43, helping Utah Valley to its first men[apos]s team Independent Championship ... cut nearly four minutes off his time from the season-opening Utah State Invitational to the season-ending Independent Championships. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Timpview High School ... team took second at state behind eventual national champions Mountain View. 

Personal... 
Graduated from Timpview High with a 3.9 GPA ... an honor roll student ... plans to major in Excercise Science at Utah Valley ... served a LDS Church mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana ... won the Crystal Eagle service award in 2003 ... also enjoys Ultimate Frisbee and playing the piano ... brother Danny currently runs track for Utah Valley while other brother Devin ran track previously.
