At Utah Valley...

Sophomore (2017): Indoor: Recorded the program’s all-time seventh best throw (12.57m) in the shot put at the WAC Indoor Championships in Boise, Idaho… posted the fifth best mark in the weight throw (15.82m) in program history at the BYU Cougar Indoor Invitational… won the weight throw at the BYU Indoor… added a third-place finish in the weight throw (15.14m) at the BYU December Invite… placed seventh in shot put at WAC Championships… finished eighth in the WAC in the weight throw… ninth in the WAC in the shot put. Outdoor: Moved into eighth on the program all-time record list in the hammer throw with a toss of 46.14 meters at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate… finished eighth with an outdoor personal-best mark of 12.44 meters at the WAC Outdoor Championships in Edinburg, Texas… recorded a season-best throw of 35.58 meters in the discus in season opener at the UNLV Spring Invitational... ranked 10th in the WAC in the shot put and hammer… 18th in the WAC in the discus.
 
Freshman (2016): Indoor: Placed 19th in the shot put at the WAC Championships in Boise, Idaho, with a season-best throw of 10.19 meters… finished eighth in the weight throw at the Weber State Indoor Invitational with a season-best distance of 13.74 meters… made UVU debut with 10th-place finish in the weight throw (12.12m) and 12th-place finish (9.49m) in the shot put at the Weber State Winter Open.

Prepped at Morgan High School in Morgan, Utah...2015 discus 3A state champion and 2015 discus region 10 champion...also played basketball for Morgan High.

Graduated from Morgan High School...Parents are Blake and Krystal Nagel...sister is Kassie...Plans to study physical therapy.
