Appeared in 17 matches and started 15 in the 2016 season … attempted a total of seven shots on the year … accumulated a shots on goal percentage of .286 … avoided any yellow or red cards for the entire year … UVU won nine of the 15 games Melanie started … started and played 32 minutes with a shot on goal in a win over New Mexico State in the WAC tournament (Nov. 3) … named to the WAC All-Academic team.
JUNIOR (2015)
Played and started each of UVU's 22 matches in a historic, record-breaking season for the Wolverines ... helped UVU win its first-ever WAC Tournament championship and a trip to the team's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance ... helped anchor the UVU defense to an impressive eight shutouts during the season ... tallied two assists on the season ... also recorded eight shots, including four on goal ... logged 71 minutes of action in UVU's historic 2-0 win over Seattle U (Nov. 8) in the WAC Tournament title match ... also played 83 minutes in UVU's NCAA Tournament match at BYU (Nov. 14) ... named to WAC's all-academic team.
