Prepped at Riverton High School ... earned All-State honors three straight years ... set a school record in the long jump with a jump of 13[apos]04,[quote] the mark was the 9th All-Time best in Utah ... also was a state champion in his senior season ... holds the region region in the long jump ... holds the school record in the triple jump and has the Utah Summer Games record at 44[apos]08[apos][apos] ...was the most valuable athlete and jumper in 2005 ... took fourth in region in 2005 in the 100m, third in the 200m, second in the high jump and first in the long jump ... competed in the junior Olympic nationals as a sophomore and junior ... took 14th in the nation as a sophomore and 13th as a junior.
