Athletic Academics Resources/Support
UVU athletics offers a variety of resources for student-athletes to be successful in their academic pursuits. Each student-athlete will work with a dedicated academic advisor that oversees their team’s scheduling and eligibility to ensure student-athletes are enrolled in the right courses to meet graduation requirements, time constraints (if and when possible) and eligibility guidelines. They also have the opportunity to meet regularly with our Learning Specialist and/or Academic Mentors. Here, student-athletes are provided with regular academic support including, but not limited to, individualized tutoring, time management strategies, study techniques, brainstorming, study sessions, and more. The athletic department also provides one-on-one tutors in the Wolverine Service Center 4 days per week in math, English and science courses.
