SENIOR ~ (2008): A 2008 men[apos]s team captain ... named to the 2008 Great West Conference Fall All-Academic Team ... named a member of the Great West Conference[apos]s Second Team All-Conference as he finished 13th overall at the GWC Championships in Orem, Utah (27:18.60 - 8K) ... competed in all six events on the 2008 season where he finished in the top five for UVU in all of those ... finished eighth overall at the Color Country Invitational in Cedar City, Utah (26:24.50 - 8K) ... placed ninth overall at the Idaho State Invitational (19:46.28 - 6K) ... finished 19th overall at the UVU Invitational (16:45.00 - 5K).

JUNIOR ~ (2007): Was the 2007-08 Men[apos]s Scholar Athlete of the Year ... Competed in all six of Utah Valley's events as a junior ... finished second among UV runners at three of the Wolverines six events ... was UV's second runner at the Utah State Invitational, Roy Griak Invitational and Independent Championships ... key component on the UV men[apos]s team that won first place for the first time in program history at the Southern Utah Color Country Classic ... had a personal season-best time of 25:25.00, finishing fourth overall at the Independent Championships, helping the Wolverine men to their first team Independent Championship. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Timpview High School ... team was the 2000 state runners up in cross country and the 2001 stare runners up in track ... was the 2001 cross country most valuable runner at Timpveiew ... is the 1600 meter record holder at the Bob Rasmussen Relays ... attended UV out of high school while the school was still a junior college ... was the UVSC cross country Athlete of the Year in 2002 and the UVSC Male Athlete of the Year in 2003 ... was an NJCAA Academic All-American in 2002 ... an NJCAA All-America winner in 2002 ... attended BYU in 2005 and 2006 but did not compete. 

Personal... 
Graduated from Timpview High School in 2002 with a 3.9 GPA ... an honor roll student ... was on National Honor Society ... an Academic All-State selection in cross country ... earned his Eagle Scout ... served an LDS Church Mission to Moscow, Russia from 2003 to 2005 ... brother, Derick, is a member of the UV cross country and track teams ... other brother, Devin, is a former UV cross country track runner ... enjoys ultimate frisbee, bowling and trail running ... parents are Matt Moody and Shelly Selytina.
