Sat out season due to NCAA transfer rules.

BEFORE UTAH VALLEY
The 6-foot-11, 245-pound center spent his sophomore season at Eastern Michigan where he appeared in all 33 games and made 22 starts for the Eagles last season. He posted 4.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, while shooting an impressive 48.8 percent (62-of-127) from the floor. He also knocked down 83.3 percent (20-of-24) of his free throws last year. Steele played his freshman season at Des Moines Area Community College, posting four double-doubles and scoring double figures in 10 games. 
 
HIGH SCHOOL
The Norwalk, Iowa native prepped at Norwalk High School where he earned first team all-conference honors after averaging 14.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game during his senior season. He also earned all-state honors on his way to being honored as the Warren County Player of the Year.
