Live StatsOREM, Utah- The Utah Valley University women's soccer team wraps up regular season play this week as the squad hosts WAC-leader Seattle U Saturday at 12 p.m. MT.
Utah Valley is 12-5-2 overall and 7-2-0 in WAC play. The Wolverines swept a pair of WAC home games last week, defeating Chicago State 3-0 before downing Missouri-Kansas City 2-0. UVU has won seven of its last eight matches. The Wolverines have registered four straight shutout victories.

Jessica Duffin is the WAC leader with nine shutouts. She holds a 0.77 goals against average as she has allowed only 15 goals this year.
ABOUT THE OPPOSITIONSeattle U is the defending WAC regular season and tournament champion. The Redhawks had won 17-straight conference matches before losing to Grand Canyon at home on Oct. 10. It marked the first conference loss since Nov. 2, 2012.
Seattle U holds a 11-4-2 overall record and sit atop the WAC standings with a 7-1-1. Senior forward Stephanie Verdoia, from Salt Lake City, is Seattle U's all-time career leader in points (122) and goals (47). She also leads the WAC this season with 18 goals, 11 assists, 47 points, 87 shots and five game-winning goals.
WHAT'S ON THE LINE SATURDAY?The Wolverines sit just a single point behind Seattle U for the top spot in the WAC standings. Saturday's match marks the final match of the season for both squads. A win over Seattle U on Saturday would guarantee the Wolverines at least a second place finish in the WAC, which would give the team a bye in the first round of the WAC Tournament next week in Seattle. The win would also keep the Wolverines in the hunt for the WAC regular season title, which is Missouri-Kansas City's to lose with two matches against Chicago State remaining on its schedule.
RACE FOR THE WAC REGULAR SEASON TITLEThe WAC standings are based on a points system. A team receives three points for a win and one point for a tie. The race for this year's title comes down to three teams, including Seattle U, Utah Valley and Kansas City. Teams that finish first and second in the standings receive quarterfinal byes in next week's WAC Tournament.

HOME CROWD ADVANTAGEThe Wolverines rank No. 23 in the national in accumulated attendance this season. Through nine home games this year, Utah Valley has enjoyed 8,761 fans, an average of 796 a game. The results have had an impact, as the Wolverines are 8-1-2 at Clyde Field this year. UVU holds an all-time record of 52-30-8 on the home pitch.

Jessica Duffin set the Utah Valley single season shutout record this season as she now has nine clean sheets, breaking the previous record of four shutouts in a single season set by
Lauren Sack (2010, 13),
Tasha Bell (2009) and Amberlee Nelson (2003). As a team, Utah Valley has tied the single season shutout record with nine this year. The 2010 team recorded held the previous record with eight shutouts. The Wolverines are also just one victory away from breaking the single season team wins record of 12, set in 2011.
WOLVERINES REMAIN IN NSCAA WEST DIVISION TOP-10 POLLUtah Valley appears in the NSCAA/Continental Tire West Division Top-10 Poll for the sixth time this season as the Wolverines moved up two spots to No. 7 in the latest poll. Utah Valley made its debut at No. 6 in the Sept. 16 version of the poll for the first time in program history. WAC foe Seattle U is ranked No. 8 in the poll.
SPREADING THE WEALTHThirteen different Utah Valley players have registered a goal this year and 13 different players have recorded an assist. Fifteen Wolverines have tallied at least one point this season.
