DENVER – Junior forward Blake Frischknecht highlighted Utah Valley University's selections on the 2018 All-WAC Men's Soccer teams. Frischknecht was named to the second team at a banquet on Tuesday night in Seattle as he and the Wolverines prepare for their quarterfinal match on Wednesday against Grand Canyon at 1 p.m. PT/2 p.m. MT on ESPN+. 
 
Austin Buxton, Alec Felix, Blake Leonetti and Joseph Wheelwright each received honorable mention All-WAC while Ahmed Longmire was named to the All-Freshman Team.
 
"I am very proud of our players that received All-WAC honors. The recognition is well-deserved, and is a reflection of the efforts by our entire team throughout the year," UVU head coach Greg Maas said. "Candidly, this team's focus right now is on preparing for our quarterfinal in the WAC Tournament, and putting forth our best effort on behalf of our seniors that have done so much for this program over the years." 

Frischknecht leads a balanced Utah Valley offense with six goals while Buxton has five goals and two assists. Wheelwright has played every minute in goal during the WAC season and has five clean sheets overall.
