OREM, Utah - Utah Valley travels to the Golden State this weekend to take on WAC newcomer California Baptist in a series beginning with a doubleheader on Friday, April 19 at 6pm and 8:30pm MT, followed by a single afternoon finale on Saturday, April 20 at 1pm MT to finish out the series at Riverside, California.
UVU looks to break a string of losses including Tuesday's game against BYU and Seattle U this past weekend. Against BYU,
Skylar Cook went 2-for-3 for the Wolverines to put her at 12-23 overall on the season. The senior outfielder also leads the Wolverines with her speed, claiming 11 stolen bases, 13 runs scored and is hitting a .308 on the 2019 season.
Abby Doughty continues a strong performance at the plate, hitting a .353 average and 36 hits and teammate
Lyndsay Steverson right behind with a .314 average and 33 hits on the season.
Utah Valley will also look to a match-up against the University of Washington immediately following the series against CBU, which will be played on Monday, April 22 at 11am MT back on the Wolverine softball field in Orem.

After the weekend series against CBU and UW, Utah Valley will look to take on their final WAC competitor of the season at home against CSU Bakersfield, followed by three final games of the 2019 season versus Weber State and Utah State.
