RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Monday's first day of action at UC Riverside's Battle at the Rock women's golf tournament at Oak Quarry Golf Club has been cancelled due to high winds in the Riverside area.
 
The course will be reevaluated on Tuesday morning and the teams will look to play at least 18 holes of competition.
 
A total of 17 teams are in Southern California set to take part at UCR's Battle of the Rock. Besides Utah Valley and the host UCR Highlanders, Boise State, California Baptist, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, CSUN, Cal State Fullerton, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Santa Clara, Southern Illinois, UC Davis, and Wyoming are all slated to participate at the event. 
 
The Battle at the Rock will mark UVU's first tournament of the spring. Live scoring will be available on Tuesday by visiting GolfStat.com.
