Softball announces summer camp schedule

OREM, Utah — Head coach Stacy May-Johnson has announced the 2021 UVU Softball camp schedule for this summer, headlined by the Summer Prospect Camp that runs June 22-23.
 
All UVU Softball camps will be under the direction of May-Johnson, who was a three-time All-Big Ten selection at the University of Iowa, as well as a two-time MVP of the National Pro Fastpitch league and a member of the United States National Team.
 
May-Johnson will also host the Wolverine Cub Camp for young girls from kindergarten to second grade, and the Wolverine Youth Camp for grades two through six.
 
The Summer Prospect Camp is for those from sixth grade-junior college who want to play at the highest level of college softball. Players will be instructed and evaluated and be able to showcase their abilities in front of the UVU coaching staff.
 
The Wolverine Cub Camp introduces young players to the game, where they'll learn introductory skills and engage in supervised games and activities while emphasizing sportsmanship and friendly competition.
 
The Wolverine Youth Camp will provide girls an opportunity to finetune their softball skills in all aspects of the game from the UVU coaching staff and players.
