OREM—The Utah Valley women's soccer team is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 national poll for the first time in school history.

The Wolverines hold the second-highest point tally of others receiving votes with seven, just behind Xavier at 13 points. UVU is one of 11 teams on the others receiving votes list. UVU is just two spots away from breaking into the top-25.Â

Utah Valley has played three teams that are currently in the top-25 and holds a 1-1-1 record in those games. The Wolverines dropped a 4-1 decision to Alabama on Sept. 6. The Crimson Tide is ranked No. 3 in the poll. UVU defeated BYU 4-2 on Sept. 10 in Provo. BYU is currently ranked No. 15 in the poll. The Wolverines also played Central Florida to a 0-0 draw. UCF is ranked No. 20 in the poll.

Utah Valley is one of the top scoring teams in the nation this season as the squad ranks fourth in the country in total points (156), fourth in goals (54), and third in assists (54). UVU'sÂ
Heather Stainbrook ranks eighth in the country in total points (32) and ninth in goals scored (13).Â
Hannah Lee ranks sixth in the nation in assists, whileÂ
Faith Webber is fifth in the country in shots on goal per game at 2.32. UVU also holds a top-35 RPI coming in at No. 35 in today's rankings.

Utah Valley won this season's WAC regular season title with a 9-1-1 record. It is the second WAC regular season title in school history. The Wolverines have won five WAC titles, including three WAC Tournament titles and two regular season championships.

Utah Valley is prepping for the upcoming WAC Tournament in Seattle, Washington. The Wolverines secured the No. 1 seed at the tournament and have a first-round bye into Friday's semifinal match. UVU will play the winner of Wednesday's first round match between No. 4 Utah Tech and No. 5 Grand Canyon. Friday's semifinal will kick off at 8 p.m. MT. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
