OREM, Utah — Cross Country's Adam Bunker and Morgan Nokes and wrestling's Jack Forbes have been named the UVU Athletics Perry Homes Scholar-Athletes of the Month for October and November.
 
The trio each had notable performances in their respective sports while also maintaining impressive accolades in the classroom. They are now finalists for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor, which is given to one male and one female student-athlete at the Wolverine Club Athletic Awards.

Bunker is an aviation management major and boasts a 3.88 GPA. Last year, he was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team. An All-American in outdoor track & field, Bunker finished 21st at the WAC Cross Country championships in October.
 
Nokes is in her first season at UVU and has a 3.79 GPA while majoring in public health. She helped lead the Wolverines to a WAC Cross Country championship and to the team's second straight berth at the NCAA Championships. Nokes was a first-team All-WAC honoree after her fifth-place finish at the conference championships.  
 
Forbes is a 4.0 student and is majoring in chemistry. Wrestling up a weight at heavyweight this season, Forbes picked up a trio of wins at the Southeast Open in November. He eventually finished fifth at the tournament after earning a technical fall in the fifth-place match.
