Dane Huddleston and
Ethan Efford each finished in a tie for 12th at 1-over-par 211 to lead the Utah Valley men's golf team to a fourth-place finish in the 13-team field at the Ram Masters Invitational on Thursday at Fort Collins Country Club.

"If you had told me at the beginning of the week that we would finish fourth and have the second lowest score of the final round, I would take it," said Utah Valley head coach
Chris Curran. "This is a very talented group of young players."

Utah Valley finished fourth ahead of nine teams at the Ram Masters, finishing fourth at 12-over-par 852 (282-287-283). Long Beach State won the team title with a score of 15-under-par 825 (270-280-275). Colorado State (-4) finished second followed by Cal State Fullerton (+1) in third.Â

Efford carded an even par 70 in Thursday's final round to finish tied for 12th on the 73-player individual leaderboard with a three-round score of 1-over-par 211 (70-71-70). Efford tallied four birdies in his final round.Â

Huddleston shot a 1-over-par 71 in the final round to finish in a tie for 12th with a three-round 1-over-par 211 (69-71-71). He had a pair of birdies in his final round on Thursday.Â

Ryan Seamons recorded an even par 70 in the final round to tie for 18th at 3-over-par 213 (69-74-70). He had two front-nine birdies on Thursday.Â

Braden O'Grady finished in a tie for 37th with a three-round 9-over-par 219. O'Grady shot a 4-over-par 74 in his final round with two birdies.Â

Isaiah Ellis, who played as an individual, shot a final-round 3-over-par 73 to finish in a tie for 37th with a three-round score of 11-over-par 221 (75-73-73).Â

Zachary Erskine rounded out the scoring at 19-over-par 229 (76-81-72) to finish in a tie for 64th.

Colorado State's Connor Jones won individual medalist honors at 13-under-par 197 (64-65-68).
