Wolverines travel to the 42nd annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational

OREM, Utah— Utah Valley wrestling returns to the mat this weekend for the 42nd annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 6-7). The tournament is considered one of the premier wrestling tournaments in the country and once again features some of the country's top talent. All the action will be streamed on FloWrestling with live results and brackets on FloArena.
 
The Wolverines are coming off a 2-1 weekend in North Carolina, where they dominated Presbyterian 54-0 and Duke 38-6 before falling in the nightcap to No. 6 NC State 23-16. Utah Valley had a lead against the Wolfpack following wins by 133-pounder Kase Mauger and No. 15 Haiden Drury, upsetting No. 5 Kai Orine by a 5-0 decision at 141. Following Barraclough's win over No. 21 Derek Fields, the night swung to the Wolfpack as they won three of the final four bouts, including a pair of bonus point victories.

CKLV PRE-SEEDS
Utah Valley has two who were given pre-seeds for this weekend's tournament. Terrell Barraclough was given the No. 3 seed at 165. The two ahead of UVU's 165 are the top-seeded Peyton Hall (West Virginia) and Sammy Sasso (Ohio State), who is the second seed. At 141, Haiden Drury came in at No. 9.
