SARATOGA SPRINGS—The Wolverine Club Golf Classic was held on Monday at Talons Cove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs. This year's field featured 128 golfers across 32 teams, with all proceeds benefiting the Utah Valley University student-athlete scholarship fund.
Coaches and student-athletes from UVU's 16 NCAA Division I sports were present, interacting with Wolverine Club members through games, giveaways, tips, and encouragement.
Bowls Superfoods provided breakfast for the golfers, while lunch was provided by Tucanos, with drinks sponsored by Pepsi. UCCU, Minky Couture, and Intermountain Health also served as sponsors for the event.
The team of Dianna Anderson, Steve Anderson, Jake Griffin, and Ethan Rawlinson emerged victorious this year with an impressive score of 26-under-par 46. Dianna, Jake, and Ethan were also members of last year's winning team.
The team of Blake Beck, Jason White, Landon Johnson, and Todd Nelson finished second, while the team of Dave Rogers, Kurt Merrill, Tim Lowry, and Aaron Smith took third.
In the individual contests, Tim Lowry won the Costa Vida Longest Drive contest, Braden Horton won the closest to the pin contest on No. 17, and Isaac Reaveley won closest to the pin on No. 4.
