OREM— Utah Valley University women's soccer coaching staff, led by head coach Chris Lemay, will host a special open training session on September 17, 2024, from 9-11 a.m. (MT) at the UVU Soccer Practice Field (1062 W 800 S, Orem, Utah) as part of United Soccer Coaches Open Training Week. The event, running from September 16-22, 2024, brings together collegiate programs across the nation to provide local soccer coaches with the chance to attend and observe live training sessions.

United Soccer Coaches' Open Training Week is designed to unite soccer coaches through their shared love of the game, offering unique opportunities for professional development and collaboration. Local coaches are invited to learn from the best as men's and women's teams at the collegiate level open their practices to the community.

Under Lemay's guidance, Utah Valley women's soccer has reached new heights, accumulating an overall record of 79-59-19, with a 45-14-8 mark in WAC play. This season, the team is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll with key victories over Michigan and Utah, as well as a tie against UCF.

Lemay has also led the Wolverines to three NCAA Tournament appearances, their first-ever NCAA Tournament win over No. 25 Memphis in 2020, and numerous conference titles. His staff, which includes associate head coach Kyle Christensen and assistant coaches Michael Vollmer and Sydney Bushman, will showcase their training methods during the open session.
