11/3/2025 2:00:00 PM

ARLINGTON, Texas — Utah Valley's Tylie Miller and Leah Wolf have been named Western Athletic Conference Players of the Week following standout performances that helped the Wolverines close out an unbeaten WAC regular season.

Miller earned WAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after anchoring a back line that allowed just one goal in 180 minutes as Utah Valley went 2–0 on its Texas road trip. The redshirt sophomore defender also scored her first career goal in the team's 4–1 championship-clinching win at Abilene Christian and helped limit Abilene Christian and Tarleton State to a combined 12 total shots and only five on frame. Her strong defensive play helped the Wolverines post their sixth shutout of the season in Sunday's 3–0 win at Tarleton.

Wolf was named the WAC Goalkeeper of the Week after allowing just one goal over 169 minutes of action. The senior posted a 0.53 goals-against average with an .800 save percentage for the week and earned her fifth overall and third solo shutout of the season in the 3–0 win at Tarleton. Wolf made four total saves on the road trip, including three in the win at Abilene Christian. Her leadership and command of the box have been instrumental in UVU's defensive consistency throughout the season.

Utah Valley has dominated the conference's weekly awards in 2025, earning 13 of the WAC's 33 total honors across offensive, defensive, and goalkeeper categories. The Wolverines have now collected a league-best five Offensive Player of the Week honors, four Defensive, and four Goalkeeper selections this season.

Utah Valley finished the WAC regular season with a 9-0-1 record, marking the program's third straight unbeaten conference campaign and fourth consecutive WAC regular season title. The top-seeded Wolverines will face No. 4 Abilene Christian in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament on Wednesday at UCCU Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. MT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
