OREM, Utah – Utah Valley wrestling embarks on the 2025 Big 12 Championships this weekend in Tulsa, Okla. The action begins on Saturday, Mar. 8, from the BOK Center. Terrell Barraclough is the top seed at 165 and will have a good path to the Big 12 finals on Sunday. Haiden Drury is the No. 7 seed at 141.
 
BROADCAST INFO
The championships' first three sessions will air on ESPN+, with multiple streams available with Mike Leslie and Hardell Moore on the call. The finals will air on ESPNU, and Mike Couzens and Rock Harrison will call the action.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines last had their starters in action with a 22-21 loss to Northern Colorado in Lockhart Arena. Utah Valley trailed 16-0 before they picked up three consecutive bonus point wins with 165-pounder Barraclough and Mark Takara at 174. The streak of majors ended when Caleb Uhlenhopp won by technical fall to make it 16-13. After the Bears recorded a pin to extend their lead to 22-13, UVU climbed back in with heavyweight Jack Forbes's decision over Jose Valdez, and Bridger Ricks capped the night with the second technical fall of the night.
 
BIG 12 OPENING ROUND MATCHUPS
Six Utah Valley competitors will face Oklahoma. The Wolverines and Sooners did not wrestle each other in dual action this season. Two of the ten matchups will be rematches from the regular season, with Ryker Fullmer looking to avenge his loss earlier this season to Cobe Siebrecht and Caleb Uhlenhopp looking for his second win over Dennis Robin.
