Valentina Zuleta shot a second-round 3-over-par 75 on Tuesday to lead Utah Valley at the Chevron Silverado Showdown at Silverado Country Club and Resort. The Wolverines carded a team score of 17-over-par 305 and remain in 16th place at 46-over-par 622 through two rounds.
Zuleta improved by six strokes from her opening-round score, climbing 13 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 66th place with a two-round total of 12-over-par 156 (81-75). She carded two birdies and 12 pars during Tuesday's second round.
Chloe Jang is tied for 51st place at 8-over-par 152 after shooting a 5-over-par 77 in round two. Jang finished the day with 13 pars.
Pati Uluave matched Jang with a 5-over-par 77 in round two, moving into a tie for 66th at 12-over-par 156 (79-77). Uluave recorded three birdies and nine pars in her round.
Maria Ortiz posted a 4-over-par 76 on Tuesday and is now tied for 76th place at 14-over-par 158 (82-76). Ortiz tallied two birdies and 12 pars in round two.
USC leads the 16-team field at even-par 576 (290-286), while Northwestern's Lauryn Nguyen holds the individual lead at 6-under-par 138 (70-68).
