OREM—Utah Valley women's soccer senior Lulie MacFarlane has earned her third call-up to the Chile women's national team and will join La Roja for the upcoming FIFA international window in October.
MacFarlane will join the Chilean senior national team for camp Oct. 5-13 at the Juan Pinto Durán national training complex in Chile. She is one of 23 players selected for the camp and is listed among the team's forwards. Chile is scheduled to play a pair of international matches against Bolivia on Oct. 11 and Oct. 13.
The selection marks MacFarlane's third opportunity with the Chile senior national team. She received her first call-up earlier this year for a U.S.-based camp in Los Angeles before returning to the squad in March for a training camp and two international friendlies against Paraguay in Ypané, Paraguay.
MacFarlane, a 5-foot-4 senior forward/midfielder from Vancouver, British Columbia, has Chilean heritage through her mother and holds a Chilean passport, making her eligible to represent Chile in international competition.
MacFarlane has appeared in four matches for Utah Valley during the 2026 season. The Wolverines are 6-4-2 overall and 2-0-1 in their first season of Big West play following Wednesday night's 3-1 road win at UC Irvine.
In two seasons at Utah Valley, MacFarlane has appeared in 23 matches, scoring two goals with two assists for six points. She recorded both of her UVU goals during the 2025 season, finding the back of the net against Gonzaga and Abilene Christian while adding assists against California Baptist and Tarleton State.
MacFarlane helped Utah Valley capture its fourth consecutive Western Athletic Conference regular-season championship in 2025 and earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to Utah Valley, MacFarlane played the 2024 season at UTSA, appearing in 16 matches with two starts and scoring one goal. She began her collegiate career at Memphis in 2023, helping the Tigers win both the American Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships while advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16.
Across her collegiate career, MacFarlane has appeared in 42 matches with three goals and two assists for eight points.
