OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball returns to the floor on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. MT / 6 p.m. PT at the Fowler Events Center in Riverside, Calif., against California Baptist. This will be the final scheduled meeting between the two programs as WAC foes before both move to the Big West next season.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley is coming off a 58-55 victory in the Old Hammer Rivalry last Thursday night against Utah Tech. The Wolverines had four players finish in double figures, led by
Kaylee Headrick with 14 points and six rebounds.
Amanda Barcello added 12 points,
Gracie Sorenson scored 12, and
Cambree Blackham finished with 10.
Halle Nelson led the team on the glass with 10 of UVU's 32 rebounds. Free-throw shooting proved to be the difference as the Wolverines went 25 of 27 at the line, placing them just outside the top 10 in program history.
SCOUTING THE LANCERS
First-place California Baptist enters the game at 17-9 overall and 11-2 in WAC play. The Lancers are 2-0 against the Wolverines this season, earning an 82-51 win in Riverside in December and an 85-75 victory in Orem last month.
CBU is just two-tenths of a point away from having five scorers averaging double figures, led by Lauren Olsen at 15.4 points per game. Olsen has averaged 19.5 points per game against UVU this season. The Lancers rank No. 8 nationally in defensive rebounds and have limited opponents' second-chance opportunities. Filipa Barros and Emma Johansson have anchored the effort, averaging 9.4 and 7.3 rebounds per game, respectively.
THIS YEAR AGAINST CBU
Amanda Barcello scored a career-high 31 points in last month's meeting, going 6 of 11 from 3-point range and 10 of 15 from the field overall. Utah Valley also performed well on the glass, with Headrick grabbing eight rebounds and Blackham adding seven while contributing six assists and nine points.
UP NEXT
The Wolverines return home to the UCCU Center on Saturday, Feb. 21, to host UT Arlington. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. MT, and the game will serve as UVU's Play4Kay Pink Game. Utah Valley will then close out the regular-season road slate with its final trip to Texas, visiting Tarleton State on Feb. 26 and Abilene Christian on Feb. 28.
