WOLVERINES CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON AGAINST NO. 5 NEBRASKA
Utah Valley Wrestling hosts No. 5 Nebraska on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. MST in the UCCU Center. It's the final dual of the season and the final competition prior to the Big 12 Championships in March. Saturday's dual can be watched on YouTube and FloWrestling, with tickets available by visiting GoUVU.com/WREtix.

Saturday's contest will mark the final home dual for several Wolverines, including 19th-ranked senior Haiden Drury, who has 79 career wins in a Wolverine singlet and 88 overall in his collegiate career. His 127 dual points scored is tied for fifth on the all-time list. Bridger Ricks, David Evans, Mark Takara, and Jack Forbes are the other seniors listed among the UVU probable starters.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines (5-7, 3-4 Big 12) swept their conference road trip through Colorado last weekend, defeating Air Force 32-6 and Nothern Colorado 21-17. Utah Valley won eight of 10 matches against the Falcons last Friday, prevailing in seven straight to finish the dual. Five of the eight wins came with bonus points, including a trio of tech falls from Geronimo Rivera, Evans, and Forbes. Zyon Trujilllo also recorded a ranked upset with his 4-1 decision over No. 33 Logan Fowler.

On Sunday in Greeley, the Wolverines posted wins in the final two matches with Kael Bennie and Forbes to secure the dual win over the Bears. Evans won his fifth straight match overall and his third straight via tech fall, while Drury and Forbes also recorded technical falls against the Bears. UVU trailed 17-13 when Bennie won by decision over Tyler Perry, 9-4, setting up a winner-take-all final, where Forbes defeated Enzo Cappabianca 20-4 in 5:32.

ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
Nebraska and Utah Valley will meet for the fifth time in a dual meet with the Cornhuskers having won each of the previous four, including a 32-7 win last season in Lincoln, Nebraska. Saturday marks the first time Nebraska will visit Utah Valley.

The Cornhuskers are 12-6 in dual meets with their only losses coming to Ohio State and Oklahoma State two times each — at the National Duals and in conference — and Big Ten losses to Iowa and Penn State. Eight of the 10 Cornhusker starters are ranked in the top 10 of their weight classes, including native Utahn and 3-time All-American Brock Hardy at 141 pounds, and defending 157-pound NCAA champion Antrell Taylor.

UP NEXT
The Wolverines will prep for the Big 12 Championships, which will be held on Friday-Saturday, March 6-7 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
