SAN JACINTO, Calif.—Chloe Jang fired a 4-over-par 76 on Thursday to lead Utah Valley in the second round of the Soboba Spring Classic at Soboba Springs Golf Course.

Jang recorded one birdie and 12 pars in the round and now sits tied for 25th at 15-over-par 159 through two rounds.

As a team, Utah Valley posted a 23-over-par 311 on Thursday and stands alone in eighth place on the 10-team leaderboard with a two-round total of 66-over-par 642 (331-311).

Pati Uluave carded a 6-over-par 78 with one birdie and 13 pars and is tied for 27th at 16-over-par 160 (82-78). Valentina Zuleta shot an 8-over-par 80 and is tied for 34th at 19-over-par 163 (83-80). Alyssa Butterfus finished with a 9-over-par 81 and is tied for 38th at 20-over-par 164 (83-81).

Maria Ortiz bounced back from her opening round with a 5-over-par 77 and is alone in 50th at 26-over-par 170 (93-77).

Utah Valley will close out the Soboba Spring Classic with Friday's final round. The Wolverines are scheduled to tee off beginning at 10:40 a.m. PT. Live scoring will be available at Scoreboard.Clippd.com.
