LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines finished their road trip to Texas last week with a heartbreaking 58-57 defeat at Abilene Christian on Saturday. Three Wolverines finished in double figures, led by Amanda Barcello's 13 points. Cambree Blackham added 12, and Halle Nelson chipped in 12 of her own. It marked the second time in three games that Nelson has scored 10 or more points.

Utah Valley led for the majority of the game, but ACU jumped in front late in the third quarter and held the lead late. The Wolverines took a 57-56 advantage with 20 seconds left on a layup from Blackham, but the Wildcats responded with a layup from Breanna Davis that proved to be the game-winner.

ABOUT SOUTHERN UTAH
The Thunderbirds are battling for seeding for the WAC Tournament next week in Las Vegas and trail ACU by one game for second place. This season, SUU is 19-9 overall and 11-5 in WAC play. Sierra Chambers is the team's leading scorer at 15.2 points per game and distributes the ball to Ava Uhrich and Brooklyn Fely, who both average more than 12 points per game and over 8.7 rebounds per game.

The Thunderbirds lead the conference in rebounding percentage, averaging plus-8.50 on the glass this season. The Wolverines will look to counter that strength with defensive pressure and forced turnovers. Utah Valley has forced at least 25 turnovers in each of the last two meetings with the Thunderbirds.

AWARD WATCH
Amanda Barcello needs 11 made 3-pointers to break UVU's single-season record.
