OREM, Utah — Utah Valley women's basketball coach Dan Nielson has announced that former Utah State forward Gracie Johnson has signed and will join the Wolverines for the 2026-27 season.

"We are so excited to bring Gracie into the Wolverine family," UVU head coach Dan Nielson said. "Her length on the defensive end and ability to space the floor with her shooting make her a great fit for us. Our fans will love watching her in the UCCU Center next season."

Johnson spent two years in Logan playing for the Aggies, appearing in 45 career games, including 7 starts, during the 2024-25 season. She played in a career-high 20 games as a freshman during the 2023-24 season. She led the team with 36 blocked shots and tied the program record with eight blocks against Boise State. She recorded a career-high nine points against Colorado State during the 2024-25 season.

She was a four-year letterwinner at Nyssa High School in Oregon, where she led her team to the 2022 OSAA state championship and won three district titles. She finished her high school career with 1,395 points, 950 rebounds, and 187 blocks. She also earned all-league honors in volleyball and placed third at state in both the 400 and 200 meters. She was part of a second-place 4x400-meter relay team that helped the Bulldogs win the 2022 OSAA state championship.

Two of her siblings played basketball in the Beehive State: Isaac at Utah State and Spencer at BYU.
