TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Utah Valley is competing in its third meet of the 2026 season on Saturday, Sept. 19, in the John McNichols Invitational hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana. The women will begin the invitational at 6:30 a.m. MT followed by the men at 7:05 a.m. MT. 

The meet will be live streamed via RunnerSpace.com. Results for the races will be updated on Athletic.net.  

UVU is coming off their last meet on Sept. 11 in the Wolverine Invite in Orem. Isabel Anglero and Wyatt Mortenson secured their first race wins of their collegiate careers in that previous race.  

Both the men's and women's teams were able to improve their times compared to their first meet that was on the same course as the Wolverine Invite. Anglero and Lindsey Gerhart took about a minute off their times in the meet last Friday. On the men's side Bridger Jaggi and Bridger Bowcutt also showed improvements in times between the two races.

The Wolverines ran strong in the season opener for the UVU Invitational. Freshman Caren Kipsirat ran in her first cross country race in her collegiate career. Kipsirat ended up taking second in her race and was named The Big West Athlete of the Week. On the men's side Sila Kiplagat finished fifth followed by Alex Hartshorn in sixth and Trey Despain in ninth. 

Following the race on Saturday the Wolverines will be heading to Cedar City to compete in the Color Country Invitational on Oct. 3 and then will head back to Indiana on Oct. 16 for the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational.
