OREM—Utah Valley men's golf continues its fall schedule this weekend at the 57th Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Sept. 19-21, at Eisenhower Golf Club on the grounds of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Wolverines enter their second tournament of the season after opening the year with a fourth-place finish at the Ram Masters Invitational in Fort Collins. Ty Brady led Utah Valley with a third-place finish, while KJ Ofahengaue also finished in the top 10.

Utah Valley will compete in the 18-team Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational hosted by Air Force. The three-day, 54-hole tournament runs Saturday through Monday at Eisenhower Golf Club.

The field includes host Air Force, Colorado, CSUN, Denver, Gonzaga, Northern Colorado, San Jose State, SIU Edwardsville, Southern Utah, UC Davis, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Utah State, Utah Tech, Utah Valley, UTEP, Weber State and Wyoming.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational features separate team and individual competitions. The team event will be played on the Blue Course, with each five-player lineup counting its four lowest scores each round. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. MT on Saturday and Sunday before Monday's final round begins at 7:30 a.m. MT.

The individual competition will be played on the Silver Course with shotgun starts at 9:30 a.m. MT on Saturday and Sunday and 8:30 a.m. MT on Monday.

The tournament is in its 57th season and was renamed the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in 2003 in honor of former Air Force head coach Gene Miranda, who led the program for 25 years and is a member of the Air Force Athletics Hall of Fame.

COURSE INFORMATION

The Blue Course at Eisenhower Golf Club will play as a par 72 at 7,541 yards. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course opened in 1959 and is named after former President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who participated in its dedication ceremony.

The Silver Course, which will host the individual competition, will play as a par 72 at 6,510 yards. The layout features fast greens, narrow fairways and a variety of hazards.

TEAM UVU

Utah Valley's five-player lineup on the Blue Course will feature Ty Brady, KJ Ofahengaue, Isaiah Ellis, Tyler Ewell and Dylan Winona.

Goff and Bond will compete as individuals for the Wolverines on the Silver Course.

LAST TIME OUT

Utah Valley opened the 2026-27 season with a fourth-place finish at the Ram Masters Invitational at Fort Collins Country Club. The Wolverines finished the 54-hole event at 13-over-par 853 (284-288-281) after carding a final-round 1-over-par 281.

Brady led the Wolverines with the best finish of his collegiate career, placing third on the 92-player leaderboard at 2-under-par 208 (68-68-72). Ofahengaue also recorded a top-10 finish, tying for seventh at 1-over-par 211 (73-69-69).

Ewell tied for 28th at 7-over-par 217 (73-74-70), while Ellis and Winona each tied for 47th at 10-over-par 220.
