Junior (2024-2025) ... earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors ... finished 14-13 and 8-7 in duals … recorded a 7-8 record against all Big 12 competition … went 4-0 at the Menlo Open to win the 125-pound weight class … also placed fourth at the Cyclone Open … earned wins over Bowen Downey (UNI) and Koufax Christensen (Oklahoma) in the tournament … defeated his brother Garrett Ricks (Wyoming) 4-3 in dual action this season … nearly upset Tanner Jordan (South Dakota State) falling in a 4-3 TB-1 … finished 0-2 at this first Big 12 Championships … recorded three technical falls, three major decisions and seven decisions … had 32 dual points for UVU.  

Before Utah Valley … was a two-time NJCAA All-American … was a national finalist for the NJCAA ranks … helped lead Western Wyoming to back-to-back national championships … was four-time UHSAA state champ at Box Elder HS … earned three high school All-American honors … was a Dave Schultz award winner.
