At Utah Valley ...
Junior (2011): Made eight appearances for UVU out of the bullpen, finishing the year 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA ... threw 9.0 innings, allowing three earned runs on 14 hits while registering six strikeouts ... picked up lone season win in a 1.0 innning outing, striking out two and allowing two hits as UVU defeated North Dakota 13-3 on April 7.

Redshirt (2010): Redshirted 2010 season.

Sophomore (2009): Made 15 appearance, seven starts, and finished 2-4 with an 8.71 ERA ... capped his sophomore season with four scoreless innings with three strikeouts at Hawai[apos]i on May 15 ... allowed just two earned runs over his final 10 innings (three appearances) ...played for the Watertown Wizards of the New York Collegiate Baseball League in the summer ... finished 1-1 with a .60 ERA including a shutout.

Freshman (2008): Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen, finishing with a 4.20 ERA ... struck out 10 batters in 15.0 innings of work while allowing seven total earned runs ... longest outing came at Washington on March 20 when he tossed 2.2 innings and gave up no earned runs on four hits ... didn[apos]t give up a run on one hit while striking out one in 2.0 innings against Southern Utah on April 8th.

Prepped at Belgrade High School ... hit .437 his senior year ... also played basketball ... was named first team all-conference.

Born December 29, 1988 ... graduated from Belgrade High School in 2007 with a 3.6 GPA ... was on the Honor Roll and academic all-state in basketball ... majoring in biology ... enjoys fishing, skiing, camping and hiking ... younger brother of former Wolverine Kam Mickolio, the first Utah Valley player to play in Major League Baseball (Baltimore Orioles) ... parents are Gene and Julie.
