UCCU Ballpark made its debut March 24, 2005, in a 5-3 Utah Valley Victory over Southern Utah. Home to the Wolverines, the park also served as home to a minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels until 2019 (Orem Owlz). The facility is now home only to the Utah Valley Baseball program.
Player development has been optimized in many ways at the facility. In 2020 a $1.2 million turf installment was completed for year-round use of the field thanks to a generous donation from dōTERRA. Player development is optimized in the indoor batting cages that include an indoor pitching mound. The bullpens are enclosed and have a very large surface area for development. The home bullpen even includes its own a plyo wall.
Under the stadium stands there are home and visitor locker rooms. There is also a training room that is housed adjacent to the home locker room as well as coaches’ offices, indoor batting cages, and a weight room.
There are 2,500 chairback seats with lawn seating creating a capacity of 5,000. On May 1, 2012, the all-time attendance record was set when 5,456 fans watched Utah Valley defeat BYU in the midst of a 32-game win streak. The game day experience is enhanced by a video board in right center field and a playground for young fans on the third base concourse.
Nestled in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, UCCU Ballpark provides spectacular views. Recognized by many as the most scenic baseball setting in college baseball, the sunsets and mountain peaks beyond the left field fence are a main attraction of the facility.
