At Utah Valley University ...

SOPHOMORE ~ (10-11): 13-6 overall record (0-0 duals) ... placed second at the Cowboy Open in Laramie, Wyo. on Nov. 13 after going 4-1 ... also went 2-2 at both the Northwest Trapper Open and the Kaufman-Brand Open ... went 4-2 at the UNK Loper Open on Dec. 11 ... won eight of his bouts by decision, three by major decision, and two by fall. 

FRESHMAN ~ (09-10): 7-6 overall record (1-1 duals) ... did a nice job at the end of the season filling in for injured senior Jeff Newby ... named the WWC Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 23 after he defeated Northern Colorado's Kenny Hashimoto, 5-4 ... named to the WWC Coaches' Honor Roll with a 3.08 GPA ... won his weight bracket at the UVU Open on Jan. 9 after he went a perfect 4-0 at the open ... picked up one victory via a fall on the year. 

REDSHIRTED ~ (08-09): Redshirted the 2008-09 season ... posted a 2-3 record while competing unattached on the year. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Roy High School ... as a senior posted a 41-3 record competing at 125 pounds ... was a State Champion as a junior and was second in State as a senior ... his team finished fifth in State.

Graduated from Roy High School in 2008 with a 3.7 GPA ... a Honor Roll student and was on the National Honor Society ... a Student Government Officer all three years at Roy ... enjoys Duck Hunting ... his brothers Flint and Tucker also wrestle at UVU ... his parents are Rick and Jan.
